Roman numerals are among the number systems that have survived from ancient times to the present day. This number system is composed of 8 different symbols and is still valid in writing dates and various numbers.

Symbols of the roman numerals are S, I, V, X, L, C, D, M.

• I = 1
• V = 5 
• X = 10 
• L = 50 
• C = 100 
• D = 500 
• M = 1000
