English Tenses

In English grammar, ‘tenses’ is a critical topic. Learning tenses well build your grammar foundation.

There are 12 tenses in English. 4 of which refer to present tenses, 4 refer to the past tenses and 4 refer to future tenses. We should learn them in the order of past, present, and future to make it easier to comprehend.

The parts of the sentence are listed as follows at the basic level: Subject + verb + object”. Verbs give the tense information in the sentence. In other words, we conjugate the verb to express the tense in the sentence.
